Soccer Recap: Dyer County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Ripley on Friday, Dyer County came back down to earth. The Choctaws came up short against the Dyersburg Trojans on Saturday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for Dyer County in their meetings with Dyersburg: they've now lost five in a row.

Dyer County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Dyersburg, they now have a winning record of 5-4-4.

Dyer County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Fayette Ware on the 17th. As for Dyersburg, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Peabody on the 15th.
