Basketball Recap: Tabernacle Christian Takes a Loss

Tabernacle Christian lost against Victory Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tabernacle Christian Rams lost to the Victory Christian Cardinals on the road by a 51-37 margin.

When it comes to explaining why Tabernacle Christian lost, don't look at Addison Wallace. Despite the final result, she posted 19 points. Wallace's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Temple, who scored seven points.

Olivia Smith was a one-woman wrecking crew for Victory Christian as she went 7 for 12 en route to 19 points and three steals. Rylyn Cordero was another key player, putting up six points and four steals.

Tabernacle Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Victory Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-6 record this season.

Tabernacle Christian has already played their next game, a 47-44 loss against Faith Christian on the 30th. As for Victory Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 39-37 defeat against Southview Christian on the 30th.
