Basketball Recap: Capitol Takes a Loss

Capitol was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 69-57 to the Richwood Rams. The match marked the Lions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Capitol's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Richwood, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.

Capitol will take on St. Helena College and Career Academy in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Capitol knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully St. Helena College and Career Academy likes a good challenge. As for Richwood, they will be home for the holidays to greet Delhi at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
