Bishop Moore is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. Everything went their way against Pine Ridge as they made off with a 19-2 victory. Considering the Hornets have won eight matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Riley Johnson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Johnson was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Ariana Lara was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two stolen bases, and two doubles. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Sabrina Griffin, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Bishop Moore always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .733. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pine Ridge only posted an OBP of .308.
Meanwhile, New Smyrna Beach never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past Seabreeze 11-0. The win continues a trend for the Barracudas in their matchups with the Sandcrabs: they've now won eight in a row.

The team also got some help courtesy of Valerie Hausknecht, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Bishop Moore moved to 10-15 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for New Smyrna Beach, their record now sits at 5-14.

It's a different story for New Smyrna Beach, though, as they've only averaged .252. Will they be able to contain Bishop Moore's hitters?
