Central is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They put the hurt on West Limestone with a sharp 49-27 victory last Friday. The win continues a trend for Central in their matchups with West Limestone: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Deshler blew past Colbert County, posting a 57-16 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 41 points or more this season.

Central better keep an eye on Price Thornton. He was instrumental in Deshler's win, throwing for 275 yards and four TDs while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also punching in a pair of touchdowns on the ground. Thornton is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played. Kendrick Gunn was another key player, rushing for 80 yards and one score on only seven carries.
