There's no place like home for St. Johns, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Fowlerville Gladiators with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

St. Johns not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Fowlerville between 14 and 16 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-14.

Rowan Matice paced St. Johns' offense, picking up 11 kills. Matice got some help from Lillie Alsup and her 32 assists. Alsup was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

St. Johns now has a winning record of 15-14-1. As for Fowlerville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16-1 record this season.
