Volleyball Recap: Wilson Comes Up Short

Wilson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Eagle Rock Eagles, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mules of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Wilson was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-23, 25-17.

Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Eagle Rock, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wilson is set to challenge their familiar foe Marshall at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Eagle Rock will square off against rival Bravo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
