Baseball Recap: Valley Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven

Valley Christian had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 17-1 win on Friday.

Rohan Kasanagottu looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jordan Ortiz, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.
