Chris Gordon and Co. Win 18th in a Row
Chris Gordon's big game helped extend Tatnall's winning streak to 18 on Friday. Gordon picked up 205 receiving yards and four touchdowns, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. Perhaps even more impressive was his lead-up to Friday's match, in which he outscored his previous point total for three consecutive games.
Tatnall pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. Gordon and Tatnall will venture away from home to square off against DuPont at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Juan Aldas Leads Wilmington Charter over St. Elizabeth
Juan Aldas produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wilmington Charter to the win on Saturday. Aldas picked up a sack and made 16 total tackles (3.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Aldas might have his next game, a road matchup with Delcastle Technical, circled on his calendar. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Aldas saw the Cougars), he picked up two sacks, forced a fumble, and made 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Smith Made His Presence Known in Glasgow's 25-12 Defeat
While Glasgow might've come up empty on Friday, Jamar Smith wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Smith as he rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 90 yards.
Glasgow's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6. Smith and Glasgow will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on DuPont at 6:00 p.m. on October 25th.

Tatnall Wins 18th-Straight Thanks to Quinn De Viere
Tatnall picked up their 18th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Quinn De Viere. De Viere turned in his biggest game of the season, throwing for 342 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 14.3 yards per attempt.
For the season, De Viere has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 146.5 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 1.67 passing yards per game.

Jude Maycole Turns in Season-Best Performance
Tatnall picked up their 18th consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jude Maycole. Maycole produced his best game of the campaign : he picked up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 66 yards.
This season, Maycole has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 37.3 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 16 receiving yards per game.
