Basketball Recap: Millry Takes a Loss

Millry suffered their biggest loss since February 6, 2024 on Monday. 2025 welcomed they with a 62-39 loss courtesy of the Southern Choctaw Indians. The Wildcats have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

It was another big night for Antonio McGee Jr, who posted 17 points in addition to six boards and four steals for Southern Choctaw. Another player making a difference was Braylen Jones, who put up 16 points.

Millry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Southern Choctaw, their record now sits at 6-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millry won't have much time to rest: their next game is against McIntosh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southern Choctaw, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll take on Leroy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
