Pasadena Memorial will be up against a hot South Houston team: the squad just extended their winning streak to five. South Houston came out on top in a nail-biter against Dobie on Saturday, sneaking past 56-53. Meanwhile, Pasadena Memorial was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 60-55 to Pearland. The Mavericks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pasadena Memorial's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-13. As for South Houston, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-9.
