Volleyball Game Preview: Forest Wildcats vs. Spruce Creek Hawks

The Forest Wildcats will face off against the Spruce Creek Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Forest took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Vanguard as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Spruce Creek got the win against Matanzas on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-17, 25-21.

Forest better focus on containing Logan Milan and Evelyn Webb as the pair were huge in Spruce Creek's win. Milan had 32 digs and four assists, while Webb had 15 assists and five digs. Milan has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played. Khloe Jackson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Forest's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Spruce Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.

Forest was able to grind out a solid win over Spruce Creek in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Hawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
