Volleyball Recap: Woodcrest Christian Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

While Woodcrest Christian's victory against Redlands Adventist Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Royals narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Bulldogs 3-2. The Royals haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Woodcrest Christian got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 18-25, 25-17, 26-28, 15-9.

David Chang and Ethan Gaines certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Chang had 11 digs and two assists, while Gaines had 31 kills, ten digs, and two aces. Gaines has been hot, having posted nine or more kills the last five times he's played. Josh Robinson also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
