Soccer Recap: Battlefield Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Battlefield can now relate to. They fell just short of the Cosby Titans by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Battlefield have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Battlefield's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for Cosby, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3-3 record this season.

Battlefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cosby, they will face off against Herndon at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. Herndon will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cosby surely won't give up without a fight.
