Baseball Recap: Pennsbury Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pennsbury extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 13-3-1 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Neshaminy Skins. This was payback for the Falcons, who suffered a 9-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

As for Neshaminy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. While getting shut out isn't ideal, they haven't been shut out since back in March.

For Neshaminy's part, Jared Kligerman was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. Kligerman has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

Pennsbury will have a chance to go back-to-back against Neshaminy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
