Soccer Game Preview: Greeneville vs. Gate City

The Greeneville Greene Devils will face off against the Gate City Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Gate City will be up against a hot Greeneville squad: the team just extended their winning streak to seven. The Greene Devils put the hurt on Jefferson County with a sharp 5-1 victory on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Gate City kept a clean sheet against Volunteer on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Falcons. Give Gate City's defense some credit: that's the team's sixth straight shutout.

They hit Volunteer with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Keegan Bright, Issac Horne, Walker Hillman, and Max Taylor.

Greeneville's win bumped their record up to 9-4-2. As for Gate City, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.
