Basketball Recap: New London Takes a Loss

New London lost against Margaretta back in December of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The New London Wildcats fell 43-32 to the Margaretta Polar Bears. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New London now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Margaretta, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New London will square off against Western Reserve at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. New London is facing Western Reserve at the right time seeing as Western Reserve is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Margaretta, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Shelby at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
