Softball Recap: Chisholm Trail Comes Up Short

Chisholm Trail was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-1 to the Fossil Ridge Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 back in March.

Chisholm Trail's defeat dropped their record down to 9-14-1. As for Fossil Ridge, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Chisholm Trail and Fossil Ridge will both be playing Saginaw the next time they take the field. The Rangers will host the Rough Riders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
