Volleyball Recap: Hale Ray Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Hale Ray entered their match against Valley Regional on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Noises took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. While the Noises didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Warriors 25-17 in the first set.

Hale Ray started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-13.

Reagan Bean paced Hale Ray's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bean got some help from Olivia Thiele and her 11 assists. Thiele was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Hale Ray's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Valley Regional, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Hale Ray wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against North Branford on the 26th. Valley Regional has also already played their next contest (against Haddam-Killingworth), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
