Creekside not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 12, 2024. They put the hurt on the Nease Panthers with a sharp 9-0 win. The Knights have beaten the Panthers the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Panthers has come to flipping the script.

Nicholas Romeu looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. That one hit allowed gave him a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Connor Balazic was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with one home run. Tavern Blansit was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3.

Creekside kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matches they've averaged 9.2.

Creekside now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Nease, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Creekside has already played their next game, a 6-4 victory against Hagerty on the 18th. As for Nease, they will head out on the road to square off against Chiles at 1:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
