Softball Recap: Conner Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Conner's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Boyd County Lions on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Cougars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Conner's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Boyd County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-11 record this season.

Conner will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Frederick Douglass at 4:00 p.m. The Broncos are coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, so the Cougars will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Boyd County, they will square off against Russell at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
