Grant is ranked No. 4 in the section and sits with a 4-3 record. The losses come to De La Salle, Lincoln (San Diego) and Clovis East, all teams ranked in the California top 25. De La Salle is also in the national top 25.

West Park is ranked No. 19 in the section at 7-0 with key wins over Whitney, Roseville, Destiny Christian and Woodcreek.

Senior Luke Alexander of Grant has passed for 1,393 yard and 17 touchdowns this season. His top targets include sophomores Koby Shabazz and Zo Edwards, who have combined to haul in 56 catches for 882 yards and 12 touchdowns. The Pacers also have a strong rushing attack with senior Brandon Lambert and freshman Tyson Griffin.



Senior Jeremiah Tuiileila anchors the Grant defensive unit. The San Diego State commit has nine sacks to go with 58 tackles this year. Since the start of his junior season, the future Aztec has 32 sacks.

The Grant defense has several underclassman already making a difference including sophomores Gio Hodge, Xavier Worthington, Jaylen Rabon, Tyron Carter, Isaiah Stephen and freshmen Julian Bruno and Kane Fulwider. Bruno has 34 tackles, 1.5 sacks and two forced fumbles this season.

West Park is led at quarterback by junior Jaden Jackson who has 1,392 yards, 14 touchdowns and four interceptions. Jackson has three additional rushing scores. Jackson's top target is senior HaReal Greer, who has 25 receptions for 525 yards and seven touchdowns. Fellow senior Mason Johnson has four touchdowns grabs.

Ben Osby leads the Panthers run game with 541 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. The West Park senior averages 5.3 yards per carry.

Seniors Briggs Bevans and Aiden Frisk lead the Panthers defense with 11 total sacks. The West Park secondary also has six players who have an interception this season.
