Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Morgan Little, who scored eight points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Gracyn Williams, who scored seven points along with 13 rebounds.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Thomas More Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adella Dehring, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maire Kelly, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Neuse Christian Academy now has a losing record at 6-7. As for St. Thomas More Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-9.
