Softball Recap: Franklin Towne Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

Franklin Towne barely beat Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors blew past the KNIGHTS 19-4 on Monday. Considering the Warriors have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Franklin Towne let Sophia Blaisdell and Ann Bernard run wild. Blaisdell went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, eight RBI, and four runs, while Bernard went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, seven RBI, and one triple. Those eight RBI gave Blaisdell a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ahnyla Rivera, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Franklin Towne always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .688. Their OBP was a full 0 higher than the also-impressive .526 that Arts Academy at Benjamin Rush posted.
