Sedro-Woolley scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 91-90 to the Lynden Christian Lyncs. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (63), the Cubs still had to take the loss.

Lynden Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gunnar Dykstra, who went 13-for-26 on his way to 32 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dawson Hintz, who shot 60% from the field en route to 29 points in addition to seven rebounds and six assists.

Sedro-Woolley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lynden Christian, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Sedro-Woolley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Nooksack Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lynden Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Arlington at 2:45 p.m. on Monday.
