Basketball Recap: Jaylan Tran's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Spring over Cypress Springs

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Spring and Cypress Springs, and Cypress Springs kept the tradition alive. The Lions fell 66-55 to the Panthers on Monday. Spring has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Cypress Springs, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Spring has already played their next matchup, a 68-54 defeat against Iowa Colony on the 24th. As for Cypress Springs, they will face off against Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
