Basketball Recap: Sequatchie County Indians vs. Monterey Wildcats
The third road matchup was the charm for Sequatchie County, as they earned their first away win of the season. They came out on top against the Monterey Wildcats by a score of 46-35 on Tuesday. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Sequatchie County had a senior duo take command as Ryker Terry shot 86% from the field to rack up 15 points and Austin Griffith posted 14 points and three steals. Those 86% shooting accuracy set a new season-high mark for Terry. Levi Walker also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
Monterey's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braden Lee, who earned 12 points. Another player making a difference was Jp Miller, who went 5-for-6 on his way to 13 points.
The victory got Sequatchie County back to even at 3-3. As for Monterey, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.
Coming up, Sequatchie County is taking a road trip to square off against Bledsoe County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monterey, they will welcome Watertown at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
