Fleming entered their tilt with Lone Star on Thursday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They put the hurt on the Longhorns with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Longhorns, too.

Fleming not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Lone Star between 18 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.

Ashley Bornhoft paced Fleming's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bornhoft got some help from Ciana Lousberg and her 18 assists. Lousberg was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Fleming's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Lone Star, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Fleming didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Prairie on the 26th. As for Lone Star, they will take on Deer Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
