Baseball Recap: Premont's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Premont's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 6-1 win over the King Brahmas. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cowboys as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Premont's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for King, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Premont will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Freer at 12:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for King, they will head out on the road to face off against West Oso at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Oso is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
