A feisty cat fight will be fought as Forest Bearcats take on Mendenhall Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Forest has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 22.

Forest came up short against Mendenhall on Tuesday, falling 26-2.

For Mendenhall's part, Kimora Bouldin was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits Bouldin has allowed since back in March of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. Berry continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alli Brewer, who scored four runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Mendenhall kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.

Mendenhall has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 15.3 runs. Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
