Football Game Preview: King City/Union Star vs. Braymer/Breckenridge

The regular season was a success, but the real challenge begins now, in the postseason. On Friday King City/Union Star will take on Braymer/Breckenridge at 7:00 PM. Braymer/Breckenridge will need to watch out since King City/Union Star have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.

King City/Union Star put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past St. Joseph Christian 60-8. Among those leading the charge for King City/Union Star was senior Collin Breckenridge, who passed for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns. Breckenridge has now scored at least one touchdown in the past nine games.

Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Braymer/Breckenridge, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to nine. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-76 to North Andrew. Braymer/Breckenridge were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-64.

King City/Union Star simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Braymer/Breckenridge 56-0. Will King City/Union Star repeat their success, or does Braymer/Breckenridge have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
