Soccer Recap: Winder-Barrow Comes Up Short at Home Against Walnut Grove

Winder-Barrow unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Walnut Grove Warriors on Friday, falling 4-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldoggs of the 9-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.

The win got Walnut Grove back to even at 1-1.

Winder-Barrow wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy on the 18th. As for Walnut Grove, they have also already played their next game, a 4-0 loss against Jefferson on the 18th.
