Basketball Recap: Elmore County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Elmore County took on Dadeville on Monday. The Panthers took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 62-61.

Elmore County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Dadeville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Elmore County won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Trinity Presbyterian at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dadeville, they and Central of Coosa County will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played.
