Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hammondsport). They were the clear victors by a 17-2 margin over the Mount Morris Blue Devils on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 on Saturday.

The win made it two in a row for Hammondsport and bumps their season record up to 2-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games. As for Mount Morris, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hammondsport will face off against Arkport Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bluejays' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Lakers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mount Morris, they will square off against Avon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Blue Devils are facing the Braves at the right time seeing as the Braves are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
