Soccer Game Preview: Fishers vs. Guerin Catholic

The Fishers Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

It was a proper cat-fight when Fishers duked it out with North Central on Tuesday. Neither the Tigers nor the Panthers could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time Fishers have been dealt a draw since back in August.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Guerin Catholic's offense. They came up short against Hamilton Southeastern on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Guerin Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Hamilton Southeastern are ranked first).

Guerin Catholic has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-1 record this season. Fishers' draw makes their record 6-8-2 this season.
