Softball Recap: Lake-Lehman Picks Up 14th Straight Win on the Road

Lake-Lehman waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over MMI Preparatory School. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw MMI Preparatory School, too.

Lake-Lehman got a massive performance out of Kirsten Finarelli, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with eight stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Those eight stolen bases gave Finarelli a new career-high. Haylee Makarewicz was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and one triple.

Lake-Lehman was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .727. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive contests.
