Baseball Recap: Robichaud Takes a Loss

Robichaud lost against Thurston last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Eagles, falling 19-3.

Cornelius Jenkins was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Souleyemane Ndiaye, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with three stolen bases.

Robichaud's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Thurston, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robichaud will head out to challenge Redford Union at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Thurston, they will venture away from home to face off against Franklin at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
