Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Haynes Academy). Everything went their way against the Newman Greenies on Wednesday as Haynes Academy made off with a 15-5 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Haynes Academy needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The victory got Haynes Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Newman, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haynes Academy will host Jefferson RISE Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Haynes Academy is facing Jefferson RISE Charter at the right time seeing as Jefferson RISE Charter is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Newman, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Episcopal at 5:00 p.m.
