Baseball Recap: City College Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dunbar two weeks ago, City College came back down to earth. The Black Knights came up short against the Winters Mill Falcons on Wednesday, falling 17-9.

Anthony Marsico was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was John MacGillis, who went 2-for-4 with one run.

City College now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Winters Mill, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

City College didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 0-0 tie against Lake Clifton on the 24th. Winters Mill has also already played their next game (against Westminster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
