Softball Recap: Ashland Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Ten must be Ashland's lucky number: they beat Springfield with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Millers. The result was nothing new for the Grizzlies, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Ashland, bringing their record up to 5-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Springfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Ashland will venture away from home to take on North Eugene at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
