Recap: Richmond HomeSchool Guardians vs. Christian Educational Consortium Cougars
The Richmond HomeSchool Guardians lost against the Christian Educational Consortium Cougars back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Richmond HomeSchool was outmatched by Christian Educational Consortium on the road and fell 59-27. Richmond HomeSchool has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Christian Educational Consortium got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rachel King out in front who scored 21 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Erin Mitchell, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 19 rebounds.
Richmond HomeSchool now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richmond HomeSchool will face off against Menifee County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Christian Educational Consortium, they will head out on the road to face off against Presentation at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
