After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newport Harbor, Edison was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Marina Vikings 32-0. Considering the Chargers have won nine games by more than 25 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The critical scores for Edison came from Addison La Trobe, Daniella Tamariz, Sadie Olivares, Preslee Thomas, and Ayla Khoshkbariie.

Edison didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Tamariz, Lexie Reynoso, and Molly Sherwood picked up one apiece. Tamariz got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Edison's victory bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Marina, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Edison is set to square off against their familiar foe Corona del Mar at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Marina will face off against rival Los Alamitos at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
