Osceola won the last time they faced St. Cloud and things went their way on Friday too. The Kowboys simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bulldogs 44-7. Given the Kowboys' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 37th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 269th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Osceola's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaxson Hardnett, who rushed for 69 yards and one TD. Jeffrey Sinophat was another key back, gaining 77 total yards and two touchdowns.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Osceola was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 200 rushing yards in 17 consecutive games dating back to last season.

Osceola didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Ja'Mario Bradford. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Osceola's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for St. Cloud, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osceola will face off against Jones at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Fightin' Tigers' defense has only allowed 12 points per game this season, so the Kowboys' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for St. Cloud, they will square off against Merritt Island at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matches.
