Football Recap: Evangelical Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Evangelical Christian fell victim to Neumann and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Celtics and fell 51-0. The Sentinels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Celtics apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Peyton Frontino went supernova For Neumann., throwing for 317 yards and five TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 61 yards and one touchdown. Those five passing touchdowns gave Frontino a new career-high. Tyrone Howard Jr was another key player, picking up 141 receiving yards and three scores.

Evangelical Christian's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Neumann, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Evangelical Christian will face off against St. Petersburg Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Neumann, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will take on Coral Springs Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
