Softball Recap: North Decatur Takes a Loss

If North Decatur was feeling good fresh off their 12-3 takedown of Edinburgh on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers came up short against the Hauser Jets on Monday, falling 15-3. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Jets: they've now lost nine in a row.

North Decatur saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Elizabeth Meister, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

North Decatur's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Hauser, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, North Decatur will square off against Milan at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season. As for Hauser, they will challenge Southwestern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
