Softball Recap: Airport Beats Huron for Their Third Straight Victory

Airport hadn't done well against Huron recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Jets beat the Chiefs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 7-6. Winning may never get old, but the Jets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Kennady Kroll was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brenna Baker, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Airport lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Airport's record now sits at 23-7. As for Huron, they dropped their record down to 10-18 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

As of now, neither Airport nor the Chiefs have any future games scheduled.
