Basketball Game Preview: Chiles Timberwolves vs. Godby Cougars

Chiles hasn't had much luck against Godby recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Chiles Timberwolves will host the Godby Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Saturday, Chiles humbled FAMU DRS with a 78-46 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-17.

Isaiah Bundrage was his usual excellent self, going 6 for 11 from beyond the arc on his way to 24 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabe Parks, who went 8 of 15 en route to 20 points and seven boards.

Chiles was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Godby took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 63-30 victory over Rutherford. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Chiles' win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Godby, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-5.
