C. Milton Wright hadn't done well against Harford Tech recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Mustangs walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Cobras. The win was familiar territory for the Mustangs, who have now won six contests in a row.

Izzie Youngworth was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Madalyn Hoskins was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

C. Milton Wright's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Harford Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
