Football Game Preview: Tulelake Honkers vs. Happy Camp Indians + Official Tickets

Tulelake has gone a perfect 5-0 against Happy Camp recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Honkers will square off against the Indians at 6:00 p.m. Tulelake has given up an average of 31.4 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tulelake's offense might be in the hot seat on Thursday considering what happened against Hayfork on Friday. They were outmatched by the Timberjacks and fell 60-0. Having soared to a lofty 54 points in the game before, the Honkers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, Happy Camp strolled past Westwood with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 48-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Happy Camp didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Jeremiaih Guy led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself.

Tulelake's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Happy Camp, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Everything went Tulelake's way against Happy Camp in their previous matchup back in October of 2019, as Tulelake made off with a 35-12 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Indians' Keelan Hahn, who picked up 76 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 89 yards on only seven carries. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be easier for the Honkers to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
