The Lewis-Palmer Rangers will head out to face off against the Discovery Canyon Thunder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lewis-Palmer has six straight victories, Discovery Canyon has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Lewis-Palmer barely beat Air Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rangers blew past the Kadets 3-0 on Thursday.
Lewis-Palmer never let Air Academy on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-9, 26-24.

Lewis-Palmer relied on the efforts of Cady Knight, who had 19 digs, and Olivia Ivall, who had 13 assists and ten digs. Knight is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 16 games she's played.
Meanwhile, Discovery Canyon lost 3-0 to Palmer Ridge on Thursday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 25-16.
Lewis-Palmer's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Discovery Canyon, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's contest: Lewis-Palmer has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.1 aces per game. However, it's not like Discovery Canyon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Lewis-Palmer took their victory against Discovery Canyon when the teams last played on October 2nd by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rangers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
